ST MARK ALTAR SOCIETY
Hands to work and hearts to God
Is composed of some fifty parishioners who do the Lord's housekeeping. We work in teams to insure that the Altar and the Altar linens are clean and ready for Mass.  No commercial cleaning or laundering services are used. Our members commit to work for one month each year in teams of two or three.  Substitutes are always ready to step in if one member of the team is unable to work or extra hands are needed.. New members are welcome at any time during the year. While our focus is on our ministry,  we meet twice a year for prayer, fellowship and training.

Our members tells us that the Altar Society's work is "not a chore; it is a privilege and I wouldn't have know that until I did it." " It is another way of praying." "It is spiritually fulfilling to serve the Lord and our St Mark faith community."
