ACCESS ST. MARK
OVERVIEW
Announcement
St. Mark Catholic Church is happy to announce its new system, ACCESS ST. MARK, designed to enable our parishioners, visitors and staff to become more connected to each other. As we implement 21st century web-based technologies, our goals include: strengthening relationships throughout the parish, increasing participation in parish events, improving information accuracy, and reducing administrative expenses.
At this time, parishioners and visitors can use ACCESS ST. MARK via the internet to register themselves and their children on-line for Faith Formation and Youth Ministry classes, adult Spiritual Development opportunities, or social events. Once having obtained a login, parishioners are also able to view and update their family or individual profile. Also everyone will be able to view the church calendar of events and reserve meeting rooms.
Introduction
ACCESS ST. MARK is a secure system with a prerequisite that each user must have his/her profile information, including an email address, already entered into St. Mark’s database in order to obtain a “member” login. A repertoire of ACCESS ST. MARK functionality will be available to those users with a “member” login. Others who are not in St. Mark’s database can obtain a “guest” login. A “guest” login will provide only limited ACCESS ST. MARK functionality. At this time, a guest has the ability to register as a new parishioner or to sign up for classes and other events.
These are the options for becoming an ACCESS ST. MARK user:
- For Parishioners - WITH Email Address in Database
Those parishioners who are currently entered in St. Mark’s database with a current email address, can obtain a logins to ACCESS ST. MARK simply by going to its secure login page at https://secure.accessacs.com/access/memberlogin.aspx?sn=90709. After clicking on “Need a Login and entering your name and email address, your “User Name” and initial password will be emailed to you, assuming their match in the existing profile.
- Parishioners - NO Email Address in Database
If you are already a registered parishioner, but we don’t have your current email address, please send an email to the ACCESS ST. MARK administrator, Cathie Welch, at staffassistant@stmarkcatholicchurch.com. You will be notified by email when your current email address has been entered in the database.
Visitors & non-registered parishioners can view available classes and other events and register for them if desired. Go to the events link at https://secure.accessacs.com/access/login_guest.aspx?sn=90709 and click the title of an event to see the event’s details. Clicking on “Register” will first bring up a sign in screen for you to click on “Need a Login.” After entering “Tell Us About Yourself” information, you will receive a “Guest” login and password. (We encourage non-registered parishioners to complete “New Parishioner on-line Registration” to become fully-connected to our parish community.)
If you wish to join the parish or establish a relationship with the parish as a visitor, you can register for the “New Parishioner on-line Registration” event. Once your contact information is entered into the database, “New Parishioner” registrants will receive a confirmation email with instructions for using their “member” login.
Help
Context-sensitive help is available as you navigate through the system. At anytime, click on “Help” in the upper-right corner of the screen for a Help window to appear.
If you have difficulty, you can send a message to the ACCESS ST. MARK administrator, by clicking on “Report a Problem” in the upper-right corner of the screen.
